When I began planning my graduation trip to Indonesia, I picked up a copy of the great Wallpaper City Guide: Jakarta and read about the wonderful Dia.Lo.Gue Artspace. We made it here on our last day in Jakarta, on the way to the airport (they were kind enough to allow us to store our bags in the cafe), and I'm so glad I didn't miss it. This multi-purpose space serves as both art gallery, shop, and cafe, with all the art and goods created by Indonesian artists. Dia.Lo.Gue also beautifully blurs the lines between indoor and outdoor, with the cafe and art spaces merging between the two through roofless patios and open slat walls. If you ever find yourself in the city, I highly recommend checking it out!
